I used up nearly my entire life savings to pay for insurance premiums. I scrimped and saved like a mad woman, not knowing if I could afford a roof over my head with my child after divorce.

My parents spent their entire life supporting me through to university, and yet I couldn't provide for them in their old age - even though I am fully capable of making a living for myself.

There were business courses ranging from USD$497 to USD$2,499 and business coaching or masterminds from USD$15,000 and up.

I made the tough decision to sign up for the USD$2,499 course using the money I have made from my online physical goods business. The nutrition coaching service that I built during the course did not gain traction at all, but the upside was I learned a lot about the ins and outs of building a business from scratch. Although I didn't recoup the cost of the business course, this course provided me precious knowledge and a great journey with the coaching team.

Then I invested the last bit of my personal savings into another fitness accountability coaching course for GBP£2,199. It consisted of only seven 1 hour live training on zoom. It was brief and barely scratched the surface of accountability coaching. Nonetheless I went ahead to build a website and marketed my services. I had one client at USD$400 per month and that was it. This course is perhaps the worst course investment thus far.

Stubborn and desperate, I continued to explore relentlessly. I finally came across a digital marketing course that showed me a business that I can setup with minimal upfront cost. Perfect for someone who is tight on budget. That's exactly what I will share with you in the Passion to Passive course.

As long as there's a chance of it helping someone, even if it is just one person, it is worth it. Anyone struggling, like the lady or I was, will have an avenue to self-empowerment, and a spark of hope to build something to take themselves out of their circumstances.

Sometimes all you need is a small start. It's like throwing a small pebble into the pond and ripples start expanding outwards.

The ripple effects will create shifts in your life down the road. You may not feel it immediately, but you will realise it's all in the making when you look back on your journey.
